Job summary

Quality Talent Group is sourcing an Electrical Engineer for a cement/industrial facility. The role focuses on plant PCS monitoring, programming, testing and maintenance across automation systems.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in similar industry settings, with PLC experience (ABB 800xA, Siemens S7), instrumentation know-how, motors, VFDs, and power distribution expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1–3 years of Electrical Engineer experience in cement or similar industrial facility.
• Experience with PLCs and process control systems preferred (ABB 800xA, Siemens S7).
• Experience with instrumentation, motors, starters and VFDs, communication networks (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet).
• Knowledge of high and low voltage power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant PCS programming, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Facilitate the PCS as a resource for other departments.
• Support installation of new plant equipment from conception to operation.
• Collaborate with Electrical Supervisor and Process Engineers to analyze and improve operations.
• Provide technical expertise in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.
