Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks an Electrical Application Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, sales, product development, and the customer journey. You will become the technical expert from concept through installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.

This role requires strong electrical knowledge, curiosity, and the ability to communicate with engineers, plant personnel, sales teams, and business leaders. Field work is routine in demanding industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years in technical field, applications engineering, or similar hands-on role.
• Experience in oil & gas, mining, power generation, heavy industrial environments.
• Familiarity with sensor technologies, industrial monitoring; knowledge of Modbus, 4–20mA, relay logic.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep product and application expertise for industrial markets.
• Partner with sales to understand customer requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Translate customer needs into manufacturable system and product designs.
• Configure standard products to meet application-specific requirements.
• Design customized solutions using internal and third-party technologies.
• Support design, testing, commissioning, and field startup activities.
• Provide technical training and support to customers and sales teams.
• Communicate capabilities and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
