Job summary

Mine Equipment & Design, LLC in Lakeland, FL is seeking an EHS Trainer to deliver safety and equipment training to employees, customers and contractors. The role combines hands-on instruction with classroom delivery to translate complex requirements into practical safe-work practices.

You will conduct OSHA 10/30 and NFPA 70E training when authorized, maintain training records, and travel up to 30% to facilities and sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant EHS, industrial safety, or safety training experience.
• Experience delivering classroom and hands-on safety training.
• Experience developing safety training programs and curricula preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead New‑hire and site‑specific safety orientations.
• Provide equipment safety training and operator evaluations for forklifts and cranes.
• Offer OSHA 10‑hour and OSHA 30‑hour training as authorized; NFPA 70E electrical safety as qualified.
• Deliver fall protection, LOTO, confined space, PPE, hazard communication, hot work and welding safety instruction.
• Conduct hands‑on demonstrations and operator competency evaluations.
