Cypress HCM is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to strengthen our environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs within a manufacturing setting. You will serve as a technical resource on EHS compliance and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.

The ideal candidate has a background in manufacturing, solid knowledge of EHS regulations, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects that improve safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Professional safety or auditing certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience leading EHS initiatives, projects, or cross-functional teams is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a technical resource for environmental, health, and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Assist in maintaining environmental management system certifications and audit readiness.
• Provide backup support for site EHS leadership when needed.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses, implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and project teams to integrate EHS requirements into new equipment installations and facility changes.
• Lead or support safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives to drive site-wide improvements.
• Represent the organization during interactions with regulatory agencies, auditors, and insurers on EHS matters.
