Job summary

Hargrove Controls + Automation, LLC is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to deliver technical services for electrical and instrumentation assignments under supervision. You will troubleshoot and maintain essential equipment, applying theory and practical skills on diverse systems.

The role requires up to 5 years of relevant industrial experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred associate degree in engineering technology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology preferred.
• Up to 5 years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove, install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment including transmitters, transducers, meters, relays, switches, and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues on equipment such as switchgears, control panels, control valves, transformers, motor starters, and UPS systems.
• Operate industrial equipment including forklifts and man lifts while following safety protocols.
• Maintain pneumatic and motor-operated valves and actuators.
• Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, piping, and instrumentation diagrams to improve workflow and efficiency.
