Job summary

Celanese Corporation is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment on a 12-hour rotating schedule at the Chester, VA site. The role requires hands-on calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, data entry in SAP, and supporting operations with system understanding. A combination of education and 3+ years of experience is expected to qualify.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience maintaining and repairing Electrical & Instrumentation Equipment in Industrial / Manufacturing environments.
• Experience reading schematics.
• Experience using test equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on motor control center equipment and repair/replace motors.
• Input time, materials, and data into SAP Maintenance System and payroll systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment and electrical circuits with multimeters, scopes, and testers.
• Assist operations by providing understanding of system function and supporting shutdown planning.
• Maintain calibration records and procedures.
