Job summary

Kurv Industrial is seeking a Director of Development based in Rosemont, IL, to lead entitlements, due diligence and development execution for ground-up industrial projects across the Central region. You will manage budgets, schedules and coordination with municipalities, consultants and contractors to drive project delivery.

You will work with senior leaders, support acquisitions and underwriting, and oversee construction oversight, subcontractor bidding, and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
• 8+ years in real estate development, construction or site development; industrial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Project and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead entitlements, due diligence and development execution for ground-up industrial projects in the Central region.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules and cost assumptions for financial models and investment materials.
• Represent Kurv at public hearings, zoning board meetings and municipal approvals processes.
• Coordinate with municipalities, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee construction—attend weekly meetings, review pay apps and draw packages, and manage closeout activities.
