Prologis in East Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Development Manager to lead land and building developments in the New York/New Jersey market, including entitlements, design and construction of ground-up industrial facilities.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset. You will coordinate with development, capital deployment and leasing teams, manage budgets, schedules and AHJ approval processes to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial development, municipal approvals, entitlements, design management, permitting, engineering, design or construction.
• Proactive approach to solutions and problem solving with strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time and thrive in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer-satisfaction focus.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of consultants and contractors to achieve regional objectives.
• Develop, tender and manage projects from $1M to $50M+ in development cost.
• Coordinate all facets of development, including land/building acquisitions and stakeholder partnering.
• Hire and manage design professionals, consultants, and general contractors.
• Plan budgets, schedules and AHJ approval processes from acquisition to completion.
• Provide pre-construction estimating and conduct on-site inspections for safety and quality.
