Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking a paid Industrial Design Intern to join our US team in Massachusetts for approximately 4 months, contributing to meaningful client and internal projects that create real-world impact.

You'll work with industrial designers, engineers and strategists across the full product development lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience from concept through execution in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrates design process, concept exploration, storytelling, and outcomes.
• Proficiency in 2D design (sketching, visualization) and 3D modeling/rendering (SolidWorks/KeyShot).
• Experience with hands-on prototyping and model-making; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design process from research and ideation through concept development, refinement, and implementation.
• Communicate ideas via sketching, CAD modeling, rendering, prototyping, and storytelling using physical and digital tools.
• Collaborate across disciplines to solve challenges, contribute to client work, and support internal innovation initiatives.
