Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking an Industrial Design Intern for a paid, in-person role in the US, approximately four months. You will work with industrial designers, engineers, strategists, and technologists to contribute from concept through execution.

Responsibilities include supporting the design process, communicating ideas through sketches and CAD, and collaborating across disciplines to solve complex challenges. Portfolio and hands-on prototyping are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrates thoughtful design process and visual storytelling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity with a growth mindset.
• Experience with 2D sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling preferred.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Vizcom, Copilot) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design process from research through concept to implementation.
• Communicate ideas via sketching, CAD, rendering, prototyping, and storytelling.
• Collaborate across disciplines to tackle complex challenges and support client work.
• Provide hands-on prototyping and contribute to full product development lifecycle.
