Malouf Construction LLC in Flora, Mississippi, seeks a Design-Build Estimator to support complex industrial projects from concept through construction. You will work with owners, designers, trade partners, and vendors to define requirements, develop budgets, and prepare proposals within the design-build framework.

The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, researching unfamiliar scopes, and collaborating to connect every piece of a construction project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, building construction, or related field.
• Recent graduates with 2–4 years of estimating experience encouraged.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD or estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design coordination to gather project information from owners, designers, vendors, and trade partners.
• Develop schematic sketches and exhibits to communicate requirements.
• Review documents for missing information and scope gaps.
• Maintain drawings, specifications, addenda, and estimating files throughout preconstruction.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost development with estimating tools.
• Evaluate value-engineering opportunities and alternatives.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit subcontractors and vendors.
• Draft proposals and estimate packages for senior review.
• Assist with transitioning awarded projects into construction.
