Job summary

Lumafield is seeking a technically sharp Solutions Architect to partner with our sales team and help manufacturers unlock value with innovative industrial CT. You’ll lead technical wins, design evaluations, and build compelling ROI stories for customer executives.

You’ll collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure deployments meet customer needs and to drive measurable business outcomes. This role requires travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with hands-on exposure to quality, inspection, or product development.
• 3-5 years in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions architect, sales engineer, or applications engineer.
• Ability to explain complex technology simply and credibly to engineers and executives.
• Comfortable owning the technical win in complex B2B sales cycles.
• Commercially minded; can turn technical results into an ROI story.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead alongside Account Executives across the sales cycle.
• Run technical discovery with prospects to understand parts, inspection workflows, quality challenges, and success criteria.
• Design scan evaluations and proof-of-concepts on customer parts and report findings.
• Assist in the business case including ROI models and executive-ready reports.
• Recommend the right solution across Neptune, Triton, and Voyager based on geometry and throughput.
