Job summary

Lumafield in Cambridge, MA is seeking a technically sharp Solutions Architect to partner with our sales team and help manufacturers unlock value with cutting edge industrial CT. You’ll be the technical lead in our sales cycles: digging into customers’ parts and inspection challenges, designing solutions and recommending the right combination of Neptune, Triton, and Voyager to solve problems.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions architect or sales engineer.
• Ability to explain complex tech to engineers and executives.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Bonus: experience with industrial CT, metrology, or NDT.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead alongside Account Executives across the sales cycle.
• Run technical discovery to understand parts, inspection workflows, and success criteria.
• Design scan evaluations and proof-of-concepts for customer parts.
• Create ROI models and executive-ready reports tying Lumafield’s capabilities to outcomes.
• Deliver demos and technical presentations to various audiences.
• Scope solution requirements and hand off to Customer Success.
• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on capability gaps.
