Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade/tech certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of qualified craft experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics/pneumatics, VFDs, and cranes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair crane components including motors, gearboxes, brakes, hydraulics, drives and controls.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure continuous operation.
• Welding, machining, electronic work, pipefitting and rigging as needed on repair jobs.
• Install parts, reassemble and test machines for proper operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals; fabricate parts as required.
• Collaborate with mechanics, electricians and engineers to troubleshoot and optimize equipment.
• Document work performed in CMMS and ensure safety compliance with regulations.
