Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Temporary/Contract) to perform mechanical repairs, design, modifications and routine maintenance of infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, tools and machines.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in machinist, mechanic, millwright or pipefitter roles, can read mechanical drawings, operate mills and lathes, and work with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing setting. Some weekend and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in machinist, mechanic, millwright or pipefitter roles.
• Knowledge of general mechanical and engineering principles.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Able to operate tool manufacturing equipment including mill/lathe.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to OEM specifications.
• Design, modify and install tooling and components.
• Service rotating machinery including pumps, motors, fans and compressors.
• Maintain records in CMMS software and document results.
• Follow supervisor directives and work orders.
• Assist with safety and Kaizen initiatives.
