Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs.
• Keep overhead crane systems operating by performing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to repair calls.
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
• Inspect overhead industrial cranes and hoists to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturing OSHA and ANSI standards.

Job Requirements

• Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work some out-of-town, up to 5% of the time, with per diem and hotel coverage for overnight stays. Locations include: Indiana (Indianapolis, Ft Wayne), Ohio (Columbus), Kentucky (Louisville).
• Ability to work on elevated platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders).
• Experience working with voltages up to 24V, 120V, 230V, 480V.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Own professional tools (sockets, ratchets, end wrenches up to 1 ¼).
