Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Counter Sales Associate who enjoys high-energy customer interaction and operational support.

You will advise customers on industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and related supplies while building strong relationships and ensuring accurate paperwork and pricing. The role features Monday–Friday hours with no weekend shifts, PPE provided, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D,

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
Availability for occasional overtime; must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

Advises customers on tools, hardware, and materials needed to complete projects.
Manages order entry and processes transactions.
Coordinates communication with customers and team members about costs and delivery.
Maintains showroom displays and stocks shelves to provide a welcoming experience.
Partners with customers to identify best tools and procedures for tasks.
