Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for industrial projects in the United States. You will deliver estimating, cost planning, cost reporting, and change management throughout the project lifecycle on large-scale manufacturing and processing facilities.

The role requires 3–5 years of cost management experience, a degree in a construction-related field, and ideally RICS accreditation. On-site work, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field and professional accreditation is valuable.
• 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Experience on medium or large construction projects; consultancy background preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering.

Responsabilités

• Advise client on strategies, prequalify vendors, assess proposals and lead bid interviews.
• Develop project estimates including construction, fees and direct costs; review junior team estimates.
• Present estimates to client, provide value engineering and risk assessment recommendations.
• Review estimates using benchmark data from other projects.
• Establish cost reporting schedule and maintain commercial risk register.
• Manage cost control by reviewing payment apps and change orders; support dispute avoidance.
• Monitor invoicing process and benchmark performance against others.
