Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to serve as the key day-to-day client interface on complex industrial construction projects in the United States, delivering value-added cost management throughout the lifecycle of manufacturing facilities, processing plants, warehouses, and related sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, QS, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years in cost management on industrial construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning, including final cost plan.
• Review cost estimates with design teams and general contractor.
• Reconcile changes and ensure contractor data accuracy.
• Coordinate cost information sources for discussions.
• Lead cost checks and valuations on large projects.
• Manage post-contract variances and change control processes.
• Produce monthly cost reports for client presentation.
• Coach and mentor talent; uphold our values.
