Job summary

CommScope in Claremont, North Carolina is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our installation team. You will assemble, install, test, maintain, repair and replace electrical components for new machinery and equipment at our NC location.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, testing electrical systems, reading drawings, pulling wires through conduits, and updating sketches for accurate records. You may collaborate with maintenance fitters and external contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician in NC.
• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent electrical problem-solving skills and ability to read electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, maintain, repair, and replace electrical components for machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and test electrical systems for proper operation; advise on equipment operation.
• Pull wires through conduits, construct parts, and work at heights to install and repair wiring and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of breakdowns and repairs; collaborate with maintenance fitters and contractors as needed.
• Prepare sketches and update drawings to ensure accurate records.
