CommScope in Claremont, NC is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, program, and commission industrial control systems for manufacturing equipment. You will join a team focused on delivering industry-leading performance through innovative culture and teamwork.
The role centers on control system design, PLC/HMI development, and project leadership, collaborating with process, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production goals and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with 3+ years in control system design and engineering.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell including RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
- Experience with HMI development and industrial communication protocols.
Responsabilités
- Design, develop, program, and commission industrial control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Create and maintain PLC, HMI, and motion control applications.
- Develop electrical and controls system architectures for new and existing equipment and production lines.
- Troubleshoot control systems and improve reliability and uptime.
- Manage automation-related projects from concept through implementation.
