Job summary

Anguil Environmental Systems, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Controls Engineer II to design and program electrical control systems for industrial air pollution control, energy recovery, and wastewater projects.

You will develop PLC and HMI logic using Siemens and Rockwell platforms and lead FAT/SAT activities. This hybrid, full-time role requires collaboration with senior engineers, creating electrical schematics in AutoCAD Electrical, configuring networks, and supporting commissioning with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in control systems design, programming, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming using Siemens and/or Rockwell.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for panel layouts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as deadlines dictate.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and develop PLC, HMI using Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000.
• Create and validate control logic, alarms, safety interlocks, and sequences of operation.
• Design and configure control networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Create and revise electrical schematics and interconnect diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Maintain EBOMs in ERP and align with project requirements.
• Lead FAT and support SAT activities; provide on-site commissioning support.
• Document project progress with revision-controlled programs and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timelines.
