Job summary

CITI, Inc. is seeking a Control Systems Technician to install, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems at on-site wastewater facilities. You will gain exposure to PLC and SCADA programming while coordinating with engineers, operators, and project managers to support startup and commissioning.

The role emphasizes basic PLC/SCADA tasks, loop checks, and field documentation, with a focus on safety, compliance, and ongoing professional development in industrial automation.

Qualifications

Associate degree in electronics, instrumentation, or automation.
Minimum five years in instrumentation, control systems, or industrial maintenance.
Familiar with PLCs, SCADA (Wonderware or Ignition), and fieldbus protocols.
Experience with loop calibration tools and handheld instruments.

Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot control systems on-site.
Perform loop checks, I/O verification, and functional testing for startup.
Develop PLC and SCADA programming under supervision.
Support field startup and commissioning with engineers and operators.
