Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Cleveland, OH seeks an Electrical/Systems Engineer to support SCADA/PLC programming, CAD drawings, and instrumentation calibration for ISI customers. You will travel to job sites, interface field devices, and collaborate with system engineers to resolve backlog while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Requirements include a BSEE or higher, PLC programming experience, and proficiency with HMI software such as Wonderware or VTSCADA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering and PLC programming required.
1–3+ years experience programming PLCs (Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, MOSCAD).
1–3+ years experience with HMI software (Wonderware, VTSCADA, Lookout).
Strong computer proficiency operating instruments to measure/control variables.

Responsibilities

Industrial control systems engineering for ISI customers in the local area (SCADA, PLC programming, CAD drawings).
Support field technicians with interfacing devices to DCS & SCADA systems and testing.
Collaborate with system engineers to resolve project backlog while maintaining customer relationships.
Provide support for projects within ISI footprint and report job activity with logs.
Identify opportunities for customer facility upgrades and travel as needed.
