Job summary

MotionAi is seeking a Control Panel Builder I (Service Technician I) to assemble and wire industrial control panels to UL508A standards. You will use hand and power tools, read blueprints and schematics, and collaborate with engineering staff to improve quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of shop experience. You should be comfortable working with low-voltage systems, documenting changes, and performing general manufacturing duties when

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of shop experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble / install industrial control panels using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components
• Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnected wiring
• Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical components within the control panel
• Document modifications or as-built conditions on drawings
• Test continuity of circuits in electrical wiring
• Work with low voltage electricity and electrical components
• Work with Engineering staff to help improve quality and efficiency
• General manufacturing and assembly duties will be assigned when control panel shop work is not available
