Job summary

MotionAi is seeking an entry level Control Panel Builder I (Service Technician I) to wire and assemble industrial control panels in accordance with the UL508A Standard. You will work from blueprints, assemble electro-mechanical components, and test circuits.

Responsibilities include wiring with hand and power tools, documenting changes, and collaborating with engineering to improve quality and efficiency. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of shop experience.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble / install industrial control panels using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components.
• Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnected wiring.
• Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical components within the control panel.
• Document modifications or as-built conditions on drawings.
• Test continuity of circuits in electrical wiring.
• Work with low voltage electricity and electrical components.
• Work with Engineering staff to help improve quality and efficiency.
• General manufacturing and assembly duties when control panel shop work is not available.
