Withum's Tax Services Group seeks a Senior Manager to lead complex tax engagements (C corp, S corp, partnerships) with a clear path to partnership. Based in one of our offices in New Jersey, California, Chicago, Houston, New York City, Philadelphia, or elsewhere, you will guide teams and strategize federal/state/local tax planning.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting and CPA or MS in Taxation, 8+ years in public accounting tax, strong analytical and client-service skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license or Masters of Science in Taxation
• 8+ years of prior experience in tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsabilités

• Reviewing complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
• Strategic planning for clients including advising on federal and state compliance issues
• Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
• Identifying tax planning opportunities
• Conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
• Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader
• Seeking and developing new clients/business
