The role leads utility subcontractors, coordinates field resources, and oversees field execution of programs such as surge protection, outdoor lighting, and post-storm restoration. The successful candidate will work in high‑pressure environments, travel across Florida on short notice, maintain detailed reports, and

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent electrical contractor experience.
• Minimum 5 years in electric utility distribution maintenance and operations.
• Experience with storm response protocols and emergency restoration within an Incident Command Structure (ICS).
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of utility subcontractors and field execution.
• Respond to utility-issued work and post-storm damage assessments.
• Conduct field assessments of electrical systems including substations, distribution lines, and service panels.
• Document work and prepare detailed program reports.
• Plan client meetings for pre/post-storm evaluations.
• Coordinate with utility providers, emergency management, customers, and Hanson project teams.
• Travel throughout Florida on short notice; work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
