Job summary

McGough is seeking an Industrial Superintendent to lead field operations and coordinate with Project Management, representing the company with clients and trade partners. The role demands strong leadership, safety focus, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and Lean improvements across multiple sites.

Travel is required, OSHA 30 is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus. Base salary ranges from $130,000 to $160,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–8 years of construction-related experience.
• Demonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement.
• Current OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pre-Construction tasks including safety and site rules.
• Oversee field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on assigned projects.
• Develop and manage the project schedule with Project Management.
• Create weekly work plans and look-ahead schedules.
• Collaborate with Project Management on subcontractor selection and RFIs.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to meet project requirements.
• Maintain on-site documentation and budget alignment.
• Ensure closeout tasks are completed and owner training.
• Provide Lean leadership and standard work on site.
• Drive safety through meetings and OSHA compliance.
• Build strong client, design team, and subcontractor relationships.
