Job summary

MasTec is seeking personnel to install, remove, and modify machinery and equipment for heavy industrial projects. The role requires reading drawings and coordinates, moving heavy components, assembling and installing equipment, and supporting foundations and alignments under supervision.

Strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in a demanding outdoor environment. Applicants should be able to work up to 12-hour shifts, comply with MIC safety rules, and participate in toolbox talks.

Qualifications

• Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
• When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.
• Set a personal example of safe behavior.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement and volume.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret measuring tools such as tape measure, speed square, framing square.
• Assist in moving machinery and equipment.
• Assist in assembling and installing equipment and machinery.
• Assist in constructing foundations for machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate with Foreman to address problems and materials.
