Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• OSHA 30 certification and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of equipment and cranes to move heavy materials.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Support crews in setting and moving piping, valves, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and load limits to prevent accidents or equipment damage.
• Interpret load charts, blueprints, and work orders to determine lifting requirements.
• Maintain records of equipment use and fuel logs.
• Work with other teams to complete tasks efficiently.
• Follow OSHA standards.
