Job summary

Hentzen Coatings, Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Representative for General Industrial in Milwaukee, WI. This role supports sales with technical services related to coatings, formulations, and troubleshooting onPaint lines.

The position entails traveling up to 75% and training customers, evaluating products, and collaborating with the lab and sales team to drive success. Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years’ relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related field preferred (Chemistry) or Business.
• Three to five years’ experience operating a liquid or powder paint line preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical inquiries.
• Document customer visits and line audits.
• Provide classroom and hands-on painter training for customers.
• Assist customers and support sales in coatings knowledge.
• Identify sales opportunities when engaging customers.
• Lead troubleshooting with customers and coordinate with sales/lab.
• Evaluate new products for quality.
• Assist lab with testing and application evaluations.
• Support Powder and GI sales group as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
