Job summary

CHEP Services, LLC is seeking a Cleaning Technician in Livonia, MI to keep service center facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained on a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm). The role requires reliability, ability to work in an industrial setting, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitization of warehouse areas including offices, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Perform minor repairs and report major issues to maintenance staff.
• Custodial maintenance and proper storage of supplies.
• Handle chemicals safely and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers.
• Other duties as assigned.
