Job summary

Knauf Insulation, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead and sustain a culture of continuous improvement across the plant. You will champion CI principles, coach leadership and employees, and drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.

The role requires applying CI methodologies, facilitating workshops, and implementing training programs while modeling KI values and behaviors. Growth opportunities are available within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years’ leadership or engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum two (2) years’ Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Knowledge of process/continuous improvement tools, 5S activities and audits, root cause analysis, statistics, and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual CI plan with plant leadership and track progress.
• Facilitate the plant CI Steering Committee; manage the CI program and publish results.
• Lead regular improvement workshops and CI training; involve everyone and sustain gains.
• Establish and update a plant CI training plan; teach in classroom and shop floor environments.
• Cultivate CI culture; implement leader standard work, visual controls and accountability processes.
