Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Cedar Rapids is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to drive productivity and cost-reduction initiatives across Operations. You will lead lean events, implement KHMS, develop and measure plant systems, and train staff in continuous improvement methodologies.

You will coach frontline leaders, partner with pillar owners, develop KPI visuals, manage the CI budget, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across the supply chain to improve yield,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing operations experience required.
• 2+ years leading CI projects or transformation initiatives.
• Black Belt certification preferred; Green Belt certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles to meet timelines and cost goals.
• Creativity and willingness to think outside the box to drive productivity.
• Ability to communicate and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Working knowledge of enterprise business principles and practices.
• Excellent presentation and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop productivity decks and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Implement MOS & Lean/Six Sigma across factory staff.
• Participate in audits and develop procedures as owner of standards.
• Share and implement best practice initiatives across Supply Chain.
• Coordinate KHMS progression and KPI visuals.
• Develop and manage the department’s operating budget.
• Manage CI staff performance and development.
• Lead Six Sigma/Lean projects in partnership with business leaders.
