Job summary

Knauf Insulation, Inc. is seeking a Process Development Engineer to drive standardization and optimization of white wool manufacturing across KINA plants.

You will apply CI methodologies, lead trials, and collaborate with operations, engineering, and suppliers to deliver improved yield and cost reduction. The role requires expertise in hot-end and cold-end processes, Lean and Six Sigma, and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field) is required.
• Six Sigma Certification required; Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain standards for white wool processes (hot end and cold end).
• Lead trials and DOEs to optimize processes and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale new processes and improve process control systems.
• Develop training to build white wool SMEs across plants.
• Publish monthly dashboards with performance trends and root causes.
