Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to join our safety-focused team. You will safely execute jobs across services lines, supervise a small crew, and support turnarounds at client sites. Military veterans transitioning to civilian life are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include operating vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, managing safety procedures, and coordinating transport to sites. Strong safety training and valid CDL required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Class A or B CDL License required.
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements preferred.
• TWIC may be required.
• English language proficient for safety training and emergencies.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative and enforce safety policies at client sites.
• Hands-on operation of vacuum and hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate special equipment like Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Move and set up equipment, and ensure conformance to specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment in the field.
• May direct a crew of technicians.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and DOT compliance.
• Provide general field maintenance and support.
