Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our on-site construction team in Washington. You will work under supervision on daily tasks and support the crew with precise concrete forming, finishing, and site preparation.

The role requires at least four years of carpenter experience, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors. A TWIC card and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years' carpenter experience, preferably in refinery environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols.
• Able to proficiently run several types of equipment (forklifts, manlifts, etc.).
• Able to communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and other departments about issues and solutions.
• MUST obtain and maintain active status within the appropriate drug testing program.
• MUST pass background check.
• MUST have TWIC card.
• MUST obtain the 20-hour high hazard facility training card.
• MUST have Verification of 8,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pour concrete, finish and build and place straight concrete forms, irregular concrete forms, forms for underground electrical work.
• Layout batter boards, partitions, doors and windows, and related carpentry tasks.
• Operate equipment to support construction activities while following safety standards.
