Job summary

Matrix Service Company in Washington state is hiring a skilled carpenter to support refinery construction and maintenance projects. You will work under supervision from the General Foreman or Superintendent, perform concrete formwork, layout, insulation, fireproofing, and help install underground utilities while adhering to safety standards.

Candidates should have at least four years of carpenter experience, with refinery exposure preferred, and must meet safety, drug testing, TWIC, and 20-hour

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years' carpenter experience, preferably in refinery environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols.
• Able to proficiently run several types of equipment (forklifts, manlifts, etc.).
• Must obtain and maintain drug-testing program status and pass background check.
• Must have TWIC card and 20-hour high hazard facility training.

Responsibilities

• Pour concrete, finish and build forms for various concrete structures.
• Layout batter boards, partitions, doors and windows in concrete walls.
• Assist in excavation and installation of underground shoring and utilities.
• Safe operation of equipment to support construction activities.
• Adhere to safety standards and company code of conduct.
