The role involves troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and safely managing tools, company vehicle, and inventory while following safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• Technical or mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial forklift batteries, chargers and battery handling equipment.
• Install new batteries, chargers, and battery handling equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance at customer facilities.
• Safely replace battery components, cables, connectors, and watering systems.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Educate customers on proper battery maintenance and operating procedures.
• Maintain company service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
