Job summary

Carolina Industrial Products is hiring a Battery Service Technician to repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field. This full-time role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and mobility to service sites across NC.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with a starting pay of $22–$28 per hour, a company vehicle, benefits including health, dental, vision, 9 paid holidays, paid vacation time, 40 hours of paid sick time each year, and a SIMPLE IRA plan with match.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/electrical aptitude is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Electrical and forklift experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair forklift batteries and chargers in the field.
• Provide excellent customer service and inform clients about work and any costs.
• Coordinate with team to ensure expert service and timely communication.
• Maintain safety protocols and keep the service truck and tools in good condition.
