Job summary

Carolina Industrial Products, Inc. is hiring a Battery Service Technician to repair and service industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field across NC and SC. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and keep customers informed about costs and timelines.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, safety, and the ability to work independently in a moving field environment. A company vehicle is provided; training is available for those new to the industry.

Qualifications

• Electrical and forklift experience is a plus, but not required; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow safety protocols and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field.
• Keep customers informed about work and any additional costs involved.
• Communicate with team members to ensure expert service.
• Contribute to reducing downtime and maintaining customer satisfaction.
