Grahamjobs is seeking a Field Service Technician for industrial batteries in Greenville, NC. The role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial forklift batteries, chargers, and related equipment at customer sites, requiring mechanical and electrical aptitude and customer-service focus.

You will travel to customer locations, follow safety procedures, keep records, and contribute to on-time service, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Technical, mechanical, automotive, diesel, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with DC electrical systems is a plus.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and outdoor environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing daily service schedules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial forklift batteries, chargers and battery handling equipment.
• Install new batteries, chargers, and battery handling equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance at customer facilities.
• Safely replace battery components, cables, connectors, and watering systems.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Educate customers on proper battery maintenance and operating procedures.
• Maintain company service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
