Job summary

Rapid Packaging is seeking an Industrial Bag Sales Packaging Specialist in Champlin, MN. This field-based role focuses on growing bulk bag sales across FIBC, woven polypropylene, BOPP, paper, and sandbag lines, using a consultative, value-based approach.

You will manage the full sales cycle, develop territory strategies, and drive market share with strategic prospecting. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of outbound sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of outbound sales experience; prior experience with FIBCs, industrial packaging or related industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus.
• Strong sales methodologies and techniques (consultative, solution, value-based).
• Proven track record of sales accomplishments and hunger for new business.
• Motivated self-starter who works well independently and handles outbound calls.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license.
• Collaborative team player with ability to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts for growing bulk bags and packaging lines.
• Conduct customer visits, assess needs, develop proposals, and deliver presentations.
• Manage full sales process—from prospecting through closing.
• Develop a robust bulk bag pipeline using CRM and industry connections.
• Lead contract and pricing negotiations to maximize profitability.
• Understand customer business and align value-based solutions.
• Keep industry knowledge current via seminars, trade shows, and trainings.
• Identify prospective customers via diverse sources.
