Job summary

Rankin Automation, part of Flow Control Group, seeks a Territory Manager to drive new business in the Philadelphia region. You will sell automation solutions, build strategic relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

You will travel locally, present at all customer levels, and manage quotes and forecasts in the CRM. A technical aptitude with automation products and a proactive, self-motivated approach are essential.

Qualifications

• BS, BSME, BSEE, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years of Industrial/Automation sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 3 days/week in a local territory (within ~50 miles).
• Residence in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, or Philadelphia County (PA).

Responsibilities

• Sell automation solutions within an assigned territory.
• Identify and cultivate strategic relationships and present to all levels of the customer org.
• Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams.
• Develop new customers from leads and new business opportunities.
• Follow up on quotations and convert to orders; maintain pipeline.
• Work independently yet align with company management requests and account intelligence.
• Input forecasts and opportunities into Salesforce CRM.
• Become knowledgeable about assigned product lines to advise customers.
• Join sales calls with factory reps and Rankin Product Managers.
