Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a manufacturing maintenance technician to support 2nd and 3rd shifts, keeping complex production assets running safely and efficiently. You will review work orders, troubleshoot a range of systems, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Training occurs on 1st shift, with availability for ongoing shift work. Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical repair is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3+ years as a manufacturing maintenance technician with PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical repair experience.
• Bonus exposure: ultra-high vacuum systems; operation of man lifts and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Review open work orders in CMMS and prioritize preventive and predictive tasks.
• Inspect, operate, and test equipment across lines to catch issues early.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, combustion and control system anomalies.
• Install, assemble, rebuild, and repair production machinery and facility systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers, lead contracting activities, and contribute to project planning and continuous improvement.
• Support around-the-clock manufacturing; shift and weekend work required; holiday and emergency coverage.
