Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Indiana is seeking Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts to maintain and repair heavy industrial machinery, ensuring safe operation and minimizing downtime. Training on 1st shift will be provided until ready. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed; familiarity with CMMS,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance technician experience; preferably PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical repair.
• Experience in ultra-high vacuum systems, man lifts (scissor and boom), and forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment runs effectively and facility systems operate reliably.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic machinery, combustion systems, and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Install, assemble, rebuild and repair all types of equipment and support facilities infrastructure.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.
• Participate in projects and planning events; interface with suppliers and lead contracting activities; use CMMS.
• This position requires availability for shift and weekend work; Holiday and emergency coverage is also required.
