Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI, is seeking an Electrical Technician (2nd Shift) to join Plant 10.

You will support Plant Engineering with controls systems, troubleshooting, and equipment optimization to improve reliability and performance. The role requires an associate degree in Electrical Technology or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years in PLC control systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical Technology or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an equipment build/maintenance or manufacturing environment
OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment build/maintenance and PLC control systems
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in controls systems, equipment reliability, and capital improvement initiatives.
This position collaborates with Plant Engineering, Skilled Trades, and external contractors to support manufacturing operations.
