Job summary

Fuller Technologies Inc. is seeking a seasoned Control Systems & OT Technical Lead Engineer to guide automation projects across the Americas.

You will lead design, configuration, and commissioning of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems, collaborating with global teams and customers to deliver high-quality solutions. The role emphasizes 70% control systems engineering and 30% OT, with strong leadership and global delivery expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, automation/control systems, computer engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in control systems engineering or industrial automation.
Strong experience designing, programming, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting PLC/DCS/SCADA/HMI.
Hands-on experience with major automation platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, or Schneider Electric).
Experience leading technical execution of automation/control projects.
Experience working directly with customers and leading design reviews, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
Strong understanding of industrial automation architecture, PFDs, and P&IDs.
Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to coordinate in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

Lead technical execution of automation projects from concept through commissioning.
Serve as primary technical resource for project managers, customers, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Design, configure, program, and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, and networking for new installations and modernization.
Review and approve engineering deliverables and BOMs.
Coordinate activities with global engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time execution.
Conduct FAT/SAT, commissioning support, and handover activities.
Provide OT systems leadership including industrial servers, virtualization, networking, and system integration.
Support troubleshooting, warranty activities, and lifecycle improvements.
