Job summary

Fuller Technologies is seeking a Technical Lead Engineer to drive design, configuration, and commissioning of control systems across the Americas, partnering with Project Managers, customers, and a global engineering team.

You will lead PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI deployments, mentor engineers, review deliverables, and ensure FAT/SAT and system handovers meet quality and cybersecurity standards. The role blends engineering leadership with hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Control Systems Engineering or industrial automation.
• Strong experience designing, programming, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Experience leading the technical execution of automation projects and working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of industrial automation and Control Systems projects from concept through commissioning.
• Serve as the primary technical resource supporting Project Managers, customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Design, configure, program, and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems for new installations and modernization projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables including hardware architecture, I/O databases, BOMs, and documentation.
• Coordinate engineering activities with a global team to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning support, and system handover activities.
• Provide OT engineering oversight for industrial servers, virtualization, networking, and system integration.
